San Francisco, CA- Micaela Gallery announces the Salon D’Ete group exhibition of artists works on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 beginning at 6pm.
Salon D’Ete pays homage to the fine art salons of Paris. Presenting a sample of recent artworks in a single exhibition, the Salon D’Ete is similar to the Parisian art salons aimed at introducing the public to stimulating artistic and intellectual energy. The range of work is diverse in terms of both subject matter and media. Curator Jerry Emanuel borrows classical concepts to exhibit contemporary art in an intimate presentation, with genres from painting, sculpture, glass, photography and printmaking. All selections are made to invite discussion and showcase his vision of contemporary art.
Exhibiting artists include Christo Braun, Thai Bui, Barry Roal Carlsen, Dewitt Cheng, Michael Foley, Tom Foolery, Douglass Freed, Deborah Gibbon, David Gilhooly, Wilhelm Heiliger, David Hollowell, Joel Hoyer, J.R. Kabot, Heung Mo Kim, Ed Kirshner, Helen Klebesadel, Michael Koller, Laurie Lipton, Lee Miltier, Iku Nagai, Dominic Rouse , Brian Russell, Jonathan Russell, David Ruth, Victoria Skirpa, Michael Szabo, Pamina Traylor, Ruth von Jahnke Waters, and Daniel Wooddell.
Jerry Emanuel is a long-time veteran of the San Francisco and New York art scenes and responsible for launching numerous successful art careers. Micaela Gallery is proud to present his rich vision.

Exhibition hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-7pm, and Sunday, Noon-5pm.
August 2-August 31, 2006. Entry is at no charge.
Micaela Gallery is easily accessible by MUNI, BART, Golden Gate Transit, SamTrans, and Caltrain. Hourly and daily parking is available at the Opera Plaza Garage on Grove Street (between Franklin and Gough). Street parking is also available.
