Art for AIDS is San Francisco's premier art event benefiting one of the nation's leading AIDS service organizations, the UCSF AIDS Health Project. Art for AIDS is held at Bonhams & Butterfields, and is a juried live and silent auction. Root Division is an organization of San Francisco Bay Area artists working for a livable existence in an arts and arts education community.
By combining forces with artist-teachers, local schools, audiences, individuals and foundations, Root Division creates an ecology of artists-community-education-events-facilities. This dynamic partnership boosts the community and culture of the San Francisco Bay Area.
