Micaëla Gallery uses GOOGLE CHECKOUT for purchases transacted by email and telephone. We believe this method of payment is efficient and secure as it allows you to track your payment and purchase with us, keeping your private information (credit card info and email address) private. To purchase artwork through Google Checkout, please call or send us an email. We will reply with the purchase amount and generate an invoice through Google's Checkout center which will be emailed to you by Google. When you receive the invoice, follow the link provided in the email for payment and confirm your payment and shipping details.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:We accept VISA, MasterCard, personal checks, cashier's checks and cash in U.S. currency. When paying by check, please allow up to two weeks for processing time before we ship your order.
RETURNS +EXCHANGES:If you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it to Micaëla Gallery for an exchange of work by the same artist within 7 days of purchase or receipt of purchase. Your exchange must be for work of equal, or greater, value as your initial purchase.
Please keep in mind, you, the client are responsible for both original and return shipping costs. You must notify us that you plan to return the artwork within 7 days of receiving it by either sending an email to info@micaela.com or calling our gallery at 415.551.8118. Be sure to hold on to all original packaging materials and sales invoices; we only exchange your purchase with your original invoice, and we will only accept returns that are packaged exactly as they were sent to you.
PRICING
At Micaëla Gallery, it is very important for us to keep our prices reasonable. We do this for you, as well as for our artists, in an effort to make their work available to you. It's true, that with art, there is a subjective quality that is literally priceless, but there are certain other factors that often influence the value of the artist's work. These include: the artist's exhibition history, education and bibliography; the size, media and production cost of the work; and finally, the provenance of a particular work and its availability. We do not list our prices on our website, but they are available to you upon your request.
