SHIPPING
Please keep in mind, you, the client are responsible for both original and return shipping costs. You must notify us that you plan to return the artwork within 7 days of receiving it by either sending an email to info@micaela.com or calling our gallery at 415.551.8118. Be sure to hold on to all original packaging materials and sales invoices; we only exchange your purchase with your original invoice, and we will only accept returns that are packaged exactly as they were sent to you.
DELIVERY
Some artwork is ready to ship from Micaëla Gallery immediately, but others (particularly fine prints) may take a few weeks if they must be framed, or if they are part of an ongoing exhibition. We will stay in close contact with you about shipping dates.
SHIPPING
Packaging: Artwork is individually packaged according to its rigidity, material and weight. Where packaging comes in direct contact with the artwork (an unframed painting, for example), archival materials are used. All artwork is considered fragile and packed, as a result, to withstand much more than the usual bumps in transit.
Costs: Shipping costs begin at 10% of the price of an item, including packing, handling and insurance, for items shipped ground. If your purchase is oversized, in terms of dimension or weight, there may be additional charges for crating. If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, you are welcome to arrange to pick up your artwork, at no cost.
International Shipping: We can ship work internationally, although we ask you to be advised - all duties and border taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. Of course, just as with shipments within the United States, if you have any concerns or special delivery needs, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
