Karoline Schleh received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking in 1994 from Louisiana State University, and her undergraduate degree in Drawing and Printmaking in 1990 from Tulane University. In addition to her formal training, she worked at Robert Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop in New York and The Vinalhaven Press in Maine, and designed the printmaking studio of the New Orleans School of GlassWorks and Printmaking Studio.
Schleh has exhibited her artwork nationally and internationally. At present, she is represented by Ann Connelly Fine Art in Baton Rouge, LA. Her work is included in the collections of the Louisiana State Museum, the New Orleans Museum of Art, The New Orleans Arts Council, and private collections. She has received grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation, the Joan Mitchell Foundation, and the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation.
Schleh is a native of New Orleans, LA, where she lives and works with her family. In addition to her studio work, she works as an Assistant Professor of Drawing and directs the Collins C. Diboll Art Gallery at Loyola University, New Orleans.
