Bio: Jeff Mack
Jeff Mack is an award winning glass artist, educator, and head of the glass studio at the Toledo Museum of Art. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, he has keen interest in historic glass-making techniques and has devoted much of his study and work in glass to this topic. He furthered his education by attending and assisting at Haystack Mountain School for Crafts, Pilchuck Glass School, and the Corning Museum of Glass, with a focus on learning the Venetian style from renowned Murano masters.
Mack’s twenty years of working with glass includes extensive experience in design, production, gaffing, and fabricating for several artists of distinction. He is a recognized expert in traditional glassmaking techniques and continues to teach extensively and demonstrate internationally. His work has twice appeared in New Glass Review and is included in private collections around the world.
